Respect and Support for Teachers, Competitive pay, proven training, and classroom autonomy help recruit and retain great teachers and raise student success.

Close the Achievement Gap, Focus on early literacy, high impact tutoring, and targeted support, especially in under resourced schools.

Educating Florida’s Future was founded to champion excellence in public education across our state. Educating Florida’s Future will strive to improve public education through community outreach, informational campaigns and appropriate legislation as needed. Our priorities include:

  • Prioritizing early childhood education with quality, full-day Pre-K for three- and four-year olds.

  • Investing in third-grade reading proficiency through proven early literacy instruction and programs.

  • Developing and adopting strategies that create a more engaging middle school experience.

  • Providing workforce pathways and career education for in-demand and future employment needs.

  • Recruiting and retaining the best teachers through positive workplaces, collaboration and professional compensation.

  • Ensuring enriching, innovative schools are available for every student, including those with special needs.

  • Funding schools at a level that allows for appropriate staffing and keeps pace with inflation and rising costs.

  • Requiring financial and academic accountability for every tax dollar spent on PreK-12 education in Florida.

Our Mission

Educating Florida’s Future champions excellence in PreK-12 education across our state through public outreach and political advocacy. We promote the leadership, policy and funding needed to strengthen schools at scale so that students, families, communities, and Florida’s economy can thrive today and into the future.
